Lindsay Lohan at Room 23 Event

Lindsay Lohan poses with author/photographer Diana Jenkins attended the Room 23 event held last night at The Peninsula Hotel. The event celebrates the launch of the candid celebrity portrait book, ‘Room 23′, created by Diana Jenkins.

‘Room 23‘ is a coffee-table book featuring photographs of celebrities – including all of the attendees – who donated their time for the cause. Lindsay Lohan is just one of 23 celebrities featured in the book and most of them, particularly the women, are scantily clad in lingerie and slinky evening wear. Lindsay Lohan’s photo is of her “standing on a bed with men at her feet”, according to LA Times, though photographer Deborah Anderson has up one of Lindsay posing in fishnets looking in the mirror.

ROOM 23 depicts a year in the life of a private penthouse suite in a hotel in Beverly Hills, California. The year is 2008. The protagonists: Hollywood’s characters and elite. The host: Diana Jenkins.

The money from the charity event last night will go to the Sanela Diana Jenkins International Justice Clinic at UCLA’s law school in memory of Diana’s brother who was killed as the result of ethnic cleansing in Bosnia.

You can purchase ‘Room 23′ for $99.00 USD. The book is due out in March, 2009.
