Los Angeles Galaxy Defeat Colorado Rapids

David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy defeated the Colorado Rapids 3-2 last night at the Home Depot Center. The Galaxy were up 3-0, but fended off a Rapids surge to pull out a win. This was a great win, because earlier in the season, the Rapids whomped the Galaxy.

“It was an interesting game. When you play as well as we did in the first half and 10 minutes into the second half and lead by three goals, we made it difficult for ourselves because we stopped playing the ball around,” David Beckham said during the post-game press conference. “Being in the locker room, it’s like we lost the game. We’re disappointed with the way we played in the last 30-35 minutes. But we got the three points. Overall we’re happy with the three points, but there’s still a lot of work to be done.”
