Ever had problems with Ticketmaster?

Concert Tickets: We all have our horror stories about dealing with Ticketmaster if we’ve ever bought concert tickets from them. This is mine. I had just spent $223 for concert tickets to Ozzy Osbourne’s winter 2007 tour, and the morning of the show, I got an email from Ticketmaster telling me it was canceled! So, what did they do? They gave me a refund of $173, the price of a ticket, but they kept $50 in service charges for providing me with absolutely nothing! Are you sick of Ticketmaster’s outrageous service charges? So was I until I heard about this. What Ticketmaster did to me is the same thing they’ve been doing to you and all the rest of their customers every time you want to enjoy yourself at a concert.< They alerted you the day of the event that it is canceled. They keep a huge cut of the ticket price even though they don’t give you anything. And they expect you to keep coming back because they try to establish monopoly on the market.

Counting Crows, Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings

One listen to this album shows you, once again, how damned efficient they are at summoning up the spirit of an age that cared more about music than image.

Amazon recommends…

I was quite impressed to receive the following e-mail in my inbox this morning:

It’s good to see Amazon being clever and promoting The Mission Bell to people who may be interested in Delirious? It was also nice to see that the ‘average customer review’ was 5 out of 5 stars! I noticed a few months ago that Cross Rhythms announced that The Mission Bell is now their biggest selling CD of all time. I suppose it all just goes to show how popular and successful the album has been.
